Over the past 10 years CPM has had an increasing involvement across a wide range of Public Sector activities. Clients include the Highways Agency, the Metropolitan Police and various Health Trusts and Local Authorities.

Reporting and general management requirements for the Public Sector are quite different to those within the Private Sector.

Various other approaches to the Public Sector are being made either on an individual basis or on a joint basis with Countrywide Surveyors where a greater input of valuation work is required. The breadth of experience we have, coupled with a very positive approach towards management, is enabling us not only to win a number of contracts by tender but also to be subsequently appointed to new contracts on the termination of the old ones

Case Study - Metropolitan Police

Countrywide Property Management is instructed by the Metropolitan Police to manage out the disposal of 430 properties within their ownership. Most of the properties are flats and we will be managing the freehold/long leasehold interests after disposal. Countrywide Property Management has successfully interfaced with the Estate Agency, Financial Services and Surveying sides of Countrywide Assured to enable a "one-stop" operation to be put into place, thus simplifying reporting and communication, and ensuring best value can be given the client.
